Day 1 (Baku aiport, City tour)

Meeting tourists at the Baku Airport.

Transfer to the hotel.

After rest city excursion

The Heydar Aliyev Center is a 619,000-square-foot building complex in Baku, Azerbaijan designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles Azadlyg Square which is a large parade square facing the Seaside Park stretching along the Baku Bay Panoramic view over the Baku bay from the Hillside Park.

 

Visiting the National Flag Square (Azerbaijani: Dövlәt Bayrağı Meydanı) is a large city square. A flag measuring 70 by 35 meters flies on a pole 162 meters high, that has been confirmed as the world’s tallest by the Guinness Book.

Day 2 (Old city tour)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Excursion in Old City (Icheri Sheher)

Old city of Baku (Icheri Sheher): see the Palace of the Shirvans (the most striking example of the medieval palace structures in Azerbaijan, dating to the middle of 15th century). The Maiden’s Tower, which according to the latest researches is the largest Zoroastrian temple in the world.

Visit the medieval market square, handmade carpets workshop-art studio.

Walk along Baku Boulevard, which is the second largest boulevard in the world.

Boat tour at Baku Boulevard (for additional charge).

Day 3 (Gobustan, Ateshgah)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Starting he tour to Gobustan settlement of Absheron district by bus

This an open-air historical-artistic preserve with Neolithic rock drawings. It has come 6000 inscriptions that go back 12000 years (along with 2000-year-old Latin graffiti to boot). Stone Age folks sporting loin-cloths pose, hunt and boogie down in the petroglyphs. Their dances are thought to have been accompanied by the melodious strains of the Gaval-Dashy (Tambourine Stone) – a rock that has a deep, resonating tone when struck.

Because of huge rocks, leaned heavily, 20 caves and tents formed there, which were shelter for inhabitants in bad weather.

Gobustan is included to the UNESCO’s World Heritage List

After Gobustan  visit the unical monument – the zoroastrian temple named «Ateshgah» (XVII - XVIII cc.),  which was built by pilgrims from India. This monument is the part of zoroastrian cronicle and symbolizes the cult of quenchless flame

Back transfer to City center

Day 4 (Baku-Gabala)

Breakfast in hotel

Check out from hotel and transfer to Gabala region

On the way stop in ancient city Shamaxi and visiting the main sightseeing places:

Diri- Baba mausoleum

Cume mosque

7 Gumbez mosque

Continue transfer. Arrival to Gabala and check in in hotel. After rest tour to ancient Gabala ruin.

Overight In hotel

Day 5 (Gabala -  Sheki)

Breakfast in the hotel.

Check-out and transfer to Sheki.

Arrive to Sheki and check-in in a hotel.

Excursion at Sheki Fortress, Khan’s Palace (XVIIIc.), and craft Museum premised in the ancient Alban Temple. Lunch. Visit of shebeke workshop,  promenade at the older part of Sheki. Dinner at a local house

Lunch.

Going to Kish village for the excursion at one of the most ancient churches in the Caucasus (period of Caucasian Albania, Ic. A.D.), on the way back visit of Sheki bazar.

Day 6 (Sheki - Baku)

Breakfast in hotel.

Check-out from hotel

Back way to Baku.

On the way back stop at a small bazaar near Vandam village, where you can buy tasty vegetables, fruits, nuts, jams, pickles and even liquors;

On the way stop for lunch.

Arrival in Baku. Check in to hotel

Day 7 (Baku)

Breakfast at hotel

Check –out from hotel and transfer to Baku aiport
